Approximately 60% of the population has a defined root center. ⁠

This is a pressure center and a motor in Human Design.

If defined, you have the ability to handle stress and pressure in a consistent way. This pressure can be used to get things started, to create, and can withstand external pressures better than someone with an undefined root center. ⁠

If your root center is connected to the Sacral Center these are called Format Energies and can greatly impact others you are in contact with.

If your root center is connected to the Spleen Center, you have a fixed way of dealing with the pressure to survive.

If your root center is connected to the Emotional Solar Plexus Center, you have a fixed way of dealing with emotional stress and relationships.

This center is connected to the adrenals, and even if defined can burn out - especially in Projector types. ⁠Be aware of those around you with undefined Root Center’s that may amplify your defined root and give you more pressure to move that energy.

You are likely to feel less external pressure from others but may feel more of your own internal pressure to do or create. ⁠
