Empowered Mindful Intuitive Eating™ uses all of your senses to figure out what foods work well for your body. It combines science-backed nutritional concepts with your intuition, creating a sustainable and empowering way of being in a relationship with your food and body.

This old way weighing in and beating yourself up over a number on a scale has to go. 

That number on the scale doesn't tell you anything about your digestion, satiation, mental clarity, pain, or emotional needs. All it really tells you is your gravitational pull on the earth. 

My intuitive eating methodology foundation builds on a holistic approach to optimizing health in our current landscape of fast food, food chemicals, and sugar overload. I believe that we must all be operating from the same base level of knowledge to succeed in reaching our goals. When you empower yourself with education combined with intuition, it allows you to find the way to profound food and body freedom.

I am Aypril Porter, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and Life Coach, Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition. I have worked with hundreds of women in the last six years educating and helping them find ways of eating that are best for them. During that time, I've developed a way of helping women connect into how they want to feel in their bodies and around food, by using and strengthening their intuition.

I can help you see new ways of looking at food and health by empowering you to assess and know what is best for you. You are, after all, the expert on you. No one else knows better what it feels like to live in your unique body, which is why a "diet" or "superfood" is not the answer to food freedom and feeling your best. 

I do not think of foods as good or bad, but rather input for our body to determine the output. The output being joy, good energy, mental clarity, self-confidence, decreased pain/stiffness, etc. Whether your foods feed your body vital nutrients or your emotions, I believe there is room for both. When we are eating consciously and choosing our food with the understanding of why and how it will affect us, we become Empowered Mindful Intuitive Eaters.
