Episode 17 - Introduction to the Spleen Center

Transcript

Hello friends. Today we are talking about the spleen center. So this is an awareness center. It's about fears, intuition, and instinct. Each of the gates of the spleen center has a specific fear that it, has connected with it. So I'm gonna go through those real quick and then we'll talk about the open and the defined, spleen center.

So Gate 48 has the fear of inadequacy. Gate 57 has the fear of the future. Gate 44 has the fear of the past. Gate 50 has the fear of responsibility for others. Gate 32 is the fear of failure. Gate 28 is the fear of death.

And Gate 18 is the fear of authority. So if you have my parenting, the child, you have book, these are all in there. And in the workbook there are affirmations to change these to a more positive outlook as well, which you can reference in there, because the fears are the instinct that's there, but it doesn't mean that you have to get stuck in that.

And that is one of the things that. We do see is that somebody who has a, well sometimes open or defined spleen center, and depending on what gates they have activated, they may have some of these fears that are more prominent than others, and they may be stuck in them because they don't understand this about themselves.

So giving them that insight that, you know, there is a, a tendency to fear the future, but that can be turned into. A insight of, oh, I can sense what might be coming and I can take action to prepare for. It can be very different than I'm just going to fear the future and I'm gonna be immobilized to not do anything to move forward in my life.

So the Open Spleen Center is about 47% of the population, and these are people who are very sensitive to fears And ailments and things around them. So you know, if you have an open spleen, you may feel like every little cold you pick up. And you may also be so, , in tune with other people's ailments and things that you also think that you have the same ailments.

So, You may see a child with an open spleen center, , mirroring you know, what you are feeling because they're picking up on how you don't feel good or your knee aches or something along those lines. And it's not that they really have that, but they're, they're feeling that from you and kind of amplifying it.

so it's important to notice that, you know, people with an open spleen are gonna be more sensitive typically to, , Even medications and things. So they may need like the smallest , effective dose possible, or they may be somebody who responds better to, , homeopathy or something else that's less intense because they may have more reactions to stronger things with their immune system.

And this is not a hard and fast rule, but it's something to be aware of and, and consider. if you do have an open spleen center. The other thing is that somebody with an open spleen center feels good in the company of somebody with a defined spleen center. So if you are a parent with a defined spleen center and your child has an open spleen, they may be more clingy and attached to you because it feels good to be in your aura, in your presence, and and to have that feel good splenic energy.

If you have an open spleen center, you may tend to hold onto things or people for longer than is good to you. So it's important to notice, am I holding onto things out of fear? Am I holding onto things because I don't know when enough is enough and I just need to learn to let go of some of this stuff because I know that there will be more in the future if I need it.

Rather than holding onto things for fear that there won't be anymore or that you'll run out of something or you'll need something and it won't be there, because there can be a tendency to hold onto too much for too long, and this can actually include relationships as well. You know, somebody with an open spleen center may hold onto a relationship for a lot longer than is good for them.

So the defined spleen is about 53% of the population. And it's interesting because plants actually have defined spleen centers, and so when we talk about being out in nature and how good it feels to be in the forest or in the trees, you know, there's. I think a lot to it that this defined spleen that all of these plants have feels really good and nourishing to be around, you know, this whole hug a tree idea.

There's really something to it because it's like, yeah, it feels good. It feels good to be in the presence of something So, stable in that way. , so like I mentioned with the open, Spleen center, you know, people can be attracted to other people with defined spleen centers because it feels strong. It feels, , safe.

The drawback to having a defined spleen center is that you may be somebody who doesn't feel so much of the little nuances of colds and things, and you may not get sick very often, but when you do, you get really, really sick because by the time you pay attention and you notice something is really wrong, it's really, really wrong, and you've got pneumonia rather than just a cold and, and so, It's important to really pay attention to how you're feeling and, and listen to that because just because you have this, , strength and this immune system in this way doesn't mean that it's invincible.

You know, it still needs care and attention and still needs to be nourished as well. with a defined spleen center, it's important to look at the gates that are defined and, and be conscious of. what those fears may be that are connected to 'em, and there's also some insights and intuition that can be connected to them.

So it's important to look at that as well. And, and just notice what is consistent for you.

If you have a defined spleen center, you know, it's important for you to trust your knowing. You know what you know, and that intuition is consistent for you. It comes in in a consistent way, , through the defined gates in your chart. If you have an open spleen, you are also intuitive, but your intuition comes in more variability than the defined spleen center.

So depending on who you're with or the transits in the, , human design system at that time, you know, can affect how that intuition. Is available to you and you may just have a lot more ways that it comes to you, whereas somebody who has it defined may be able to rely more on a couple of different ways.

Like they hear things or they see things or they smell when things are off. , and it may just be more variable for you if you have this open. So pay attention to, you know, what are your strongest intuitions? What are your insights? What are your fears? What are you hanging onto longer than you need to?

Are you somebody with a defined spleen and you find that people are really attached to you? Are you somebody with an open spleen and you find that you were hanging onto others or things longer than you need to? You know, look at how that plays out in your life. And, , remember that this is an awareness center.

So it's, it's in the moment, filtering of information and what is good and healthy and safe for you versus what is not.
